BACKING
UP YOUR DATA
IMPORTANT: Your business data is critical so don’t forget to do a backup
!
instantAdmin automatically creates a backup file on your computers desktop
each time the application is closed.
Note: Backups are not created when using instantAdmin in trial mode.
The backups are auto numbered and named
with the first three letters of you business name like so:
iA_backup_ABC1
iA_backup_ABC2
iA_backup_ABC3
All backup files are saved with a '.USR' extension although this may not be
visible.
To backup instantAdmin and all data simply copy the ‘iA_backup’ file
from your Desktop to removable media such as a CD, Memory Card or external
Hard Drive.
We recommend backing up daily and archiving a backup weekly.
